Deposit & Refund Policy Disclosure

Maine Genius Productions LLC

This disclosure serves as an official policy and contractual agreement between Maine Genius Productions LLC (“the Company”) and the Client for all photography, videography, or event production services.

Deposit Requirement

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure the Client’s booking date and time for the scheduled event, wedding, or photo/video session. The deposit ensures that the date is exclusively reserved for the Client and that Maine Genius Productions will not accept other bookings for that time slot.

Refund Policy

  • The 50% deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances, including but not limited to cancellation, rescheduling, change of mind, personal emergencies, weather conditions, or failure to appear.

  • If the Client cancels or backs out of the agreement after payment of the deposit, the deposit will be forfeited in full.

  • The remaining 50% balance is due on or before the date of the scheduled service unless otherwise stated in writing.

Rescheduling

In certain cases, Maine Genius Productions may, at its sole discretion, allow the Client to apply the original deposit toward a new date if proper notice is given and the date is available. This is not guaranteed and must be approved in writing by the Company.

Acknowledgment

By submitting the deposit, the Client acknowledges and agrees to this non-refundable policy and understands that the deposit represents a partial payment for services rendered in preparation for the scheduled event or shoot.
